If you are looking to learn OpenSite/OpenRoads/OpenSite Designer...

Bentley Training is available at Learn.Bentley.com

Do NOT start by taking MicroStation Training.

The OpenRoads Training is designed to take you from Zero to OpenRoads Competent.

Only take MicroStation Training first if you do NOT have access to an OpenSite or OpenRoads license.

A good portion of OpenRoads replaces MicroStation tools, so there is no need to learn the MicroStation tools first.

For example, the OpenRoads Place Line Between Points tool should be used instead of the MicroStation Place Line or Place Linestring tools.

We wrote the short classes in the OpenRoads Designer - Review and Evaluation Courses Learning Path specifically to make onboarding into the "full" designer-oriented courses easier.  If you are taking OnDemand training, these courses help ensure that you can self-evaluate and self-correct if you deviate from the instuctions.  They are also the QC tools you'll use constantly and instinctively when you become a guru.

  • The Navigating the Interface Course is intented to be the first course you take, whether you're migrating from old or "competitve" software or are new to Civil Design Software.

From there, you can focus on your interest: Roadway, Site, Drainage all have learning paths.
